A  multiple prize-winning piano trio of rising stars make their first appearance in the Wye Valley: Julia Błachuta (violin); Riya Hamie (cello); Berniya Hamie (piano).

Formed at the Royal College of Music in 2021, the Astatine Trio were unanimously awarded First Prize at the 2022 Senior Intercollegiate Piano Trio Competition as the youngest entrants, with an average age of less than 19. They went on to win the First Prize and Luigi Boccherini Prize of the International Virtuoso & Belcanto Chamber Competition (held in Lucca, Italy) in July 2022 and were most recently joint first prize winners of the Birmingham International Piano Chamber Music Competition in November 2022.
